Strong Ones

Our greatest protectors are not brolic brothers Hard in vulnerable places Frail behind fists They exist dipped to dripping in holiness You hear it in their eyes Always saying I love you Always meaning It takes a village Then gives much more In return For their work is selfless Knowing God and being humble is a disciplined abandon Done for us Since we can't live Without them there is no blessing Being done If we are anything We are blessed To have intercession Between Black and God Strong ones
